Neutron Star important facts

                         Neutron Star

  • A neutron Star has a mass of least1.1perhaps up to 3 solar masses through the height observed mass is 2.01m.
  • Neutron Star typically have surface temperature around 6×105k.
  • Neutron Star have overall densities of 3.7×10^17 to 5.9×10^17kg/m^3 (2.6×1014 to 4.1×1014) times the density of sun which is comparable to approximately density of an atomic nucleus of 3×1017kg/m^3.
  • The maximum observed mass of neutron Star is about 2m. compact star with more then 10m will over come the neutron degeneracy pressure and gravitational collapse will usually occurs to produce black hole about 5m.
  • Some neutron Star rotate verry rapidly (up to 716 times a second giving a linear speed at surface on the order of o.165c and emit beam of electromagnetic tradition as pulser
  • Gamma ray brust may produce from rapid Rotation high mass star or from the merger of binary neutron Star.
  • A Spinning of neutron Star emit radio wave and is called a pulser.
  • Half and three solar mass neutron Star greater then 3 solar mass then become a black hole.
